KATHMANDU: The first look poster of the film ‘Buki’ has been unveiled.

The poster features the Buki flower, which is blooming suddenly. Mist is seen approaching to cover the meadow in the mountainous terrain.

On the meadow, seven women along with one man are playing volleyball. Since a volleyball net and court are visible, it is presumed they are preparing for a women’s tournament. The production team has not disclosed further details.

Directed by Mohan KC, the film is produced under Himalayan Musical Event Management and Films. The Buki flower blooms during the rainy season in the Himalayan meadows. The film narrates the relationship between sports and nature.

The film’s executive producers are Prakash Ale and Rajan KC. The producers include Laxman Sapkota, Amisha Kaucha Thapa, and Ramesh Thapa.

The cast features Suraksha Pant, Devendra Bablu, Roshni Karki, Prakash Ghimire, Laxminath Timsina, Ganu Joshi, Anu Dahal, Sandeep Babu Lohani, Nisha Bajgai, and others.

Bikas Gandharva is the Director of Photography, and Bhupendra Adhikari is the editor. The filming took place in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dhorpatan in Baglung.

The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
