KATHMANDU: The first-look posters of the film Rimai, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, have been officially released.
Marking the occasion of Buddha Jayanti on Monday, three distinct posters were unveiled simultaneously. The posters announce that the film is set to release on Bhadra 27 (a date in the Nepali calendar).

The first poster has actress Gaumaya Gurung standing alongside Dayahang and Rishma. The second poster includes all the major cast of the film, including Dayahang, Rishma, and Gaumaya. The third poster features actor Dayahang Rai alongside Rishma Gurung.

The characters are seen in the customary Gurung cultural attire, which suggests cultural orientation of the film. The posters are expected to spark excitement among audiences.
The movie is being presented by Gorkha Siranchowk & Ligligkot Films Pvt. Ltd., in association with Roteping Entertainment.

Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Gaumaya Gurung, Arpan Thapa, Kabita Ale Magar, Mao Tse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Veer Maya Gurung, Veerbal Ghale, D.B. Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child actors Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar are featured in the roles.

The film is written by Upendra Subba and shot by Shailendra Dhoj Karki. Veerbal Ghale serves as the executive producer, with Tika Gurung, Jeet Yatri Gurung, and Duna Bahadur Ghale as producers. Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire are credited as co-producers.
