KATHMANDU: Renowned Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali will be performing in Nepal soon. He will take the stage at the “Ghulam Ali: Three Generations on One Stage” concert, scheduled for March 15 at The Plaza in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, as announced by Milan Moktan, chairperson of the event’s organizer, Sadhana Kala Kendra.

Ghulam Ali will be joined by his son, Aamir Ghulam Ali, and his grandson, Nazir Ghulam Ali, for this special performance. Ali is expected to arrive in Kathmandu on March 4.

Musician Deepak Jangam expressed his hope that the event will inspire Nepali ghazal singers. “Just as the audience looks forward to hearing him live, many musicians dream of working with him. This event is significant not only for the audience but also for musicians,” Jangam shared.

Ghulam Ali is also known for singing popular Nepali songs and ghazals, including hits like “Gajalu Ti Thula Thula Aankha,” “Kina Kina Timro Tasbir,” “Lolaeka Ti Thula,” “Ke Chha Ra Diun,” and “Nidharma.”
