‘Kabaddi 5’ filming starts in Mustang

KATHMANDU: The popular film series Kabaddi is starting the 35-day shoot for its fifth sequel, Kabaddi 5, in Mustang on Tuesday, following an auspicious blessing ceremony at Muktinath Temple.

Executive Producer Mani Ram Pokharel confirmed that 70 percent of the filming will be in Mustang and the remainder in Kathmandu.

Returning actors from the sequel include Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, Kammal Mani Nepal, and Aruna Karki.

New additions for important roles are Bipin Karki and Srijana Gurung.

The film is directed and produced by Ram Babu Gurung under the Baasuri Films banner.

All four previous parts were major domestic box office successes.
