KATHMANDU: The Nepali film ‘Laaj Sharanam’ has successfully completed 100 days of screening. Released on Falgun 14 (February 26) last year, the film ran for 100 days at Ranjana Cineplex in New Road, Kathmandu, producer Nabin Shrestha confirmed.

Expressing gratitude, Shrestha said, “I am very thankful for the love the audience has shown for my first film. The contemporary themes resonated well with viewers, encouraging me to continue filmmaking. I feel a greater responsibility to create meaningful films in the future.”

He emphasized that films should entertain while conveying social messages. Shrestha also announced his next project, ‘Paanch Pandav’, with screenplay by Sushil Paudel and direction by Basanta Niraula, expected to begin filming from Bhadra (September).
