KATHMANDU: The film Maijharo, a love story directed by comedian Wilson Bikram Rai and produced by ‘Takme Production,’ has launched a promotional tour across Eastern Nepal, beginning this past week.

The film is set for release in cinema halls on October 24.

The promotion centers on live musical programs and heavy branding of local electric rickshaws.

Rai, singer Rajesh Payal Rai, and musician Anmol Gurung performed at concerts held in Dharan (Thursday), Rai’s home district (Friday), and Birtamod (Saturday). Future stops are planned in Damak, Itahari, and Belbari.

Rai stated the goal of this method is both to entertain audiences and directly inform them about the movie’s hall release.

The film’s major cast includes Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Deeya Pun, and Buddhi Tamang.
