KATHMANDU: The new poster of the film ‘Paran,’ directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), has been released, prominently featuring veteran actor Neer Shah.
Unlike the earlier poster, which highlighted actor Mahesh Tripathi and actress Anjana Baraili, the latest poster places Neer Shah at the center, blowing a conch shell with a serious and experienced expression on his face.
The image hints that the film’s story may emphasize religion, culture, or traditional rituals, sparking widespread speculation about Neer Shah’s character and the overall narrative.
The production team has not revealed details about the plot. The film’s tagline, “Saasle hoina, saathle chalne” (“It’s not breath, but togetherness that matters”), suggests that the story will focus on the importance of companionship and human relationships.
Observers expect Paran to explore emotional depth and relational dynamics, and Neer Shah’s central role raises expectations for strong storytelling and compelling performances.
The film features an ensemble cast including Neer Shah, Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraily, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrata Raj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actor Aryadeep Acharya.
The production team includes Anish Adhikari and Samar Chaulagai as production managers, and Ajay Upadhyay as executive producer. Cinematography is by Shivaram Shrestha, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and choreography by Sunil Kshetri.
‘Paran’ is scheduled to release nationwide from October 31, shortly after the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
