KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a group discussion with artists at her official residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday afternoon.

The meeting, which also included Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, was attended by prominent figures from Nepal’s film and music industries.

Among those present were actor and director Nischal Basnet, actress Richa Sharma, musician Kaliprasad Rijal, actor Bipin Karki, and artist Bijay Baral, among others.

The discussion focused on issues concerning the Nepali film and music sectors, and the role of artists in promoting social awareness and national unity.
