Shooting of ‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ officially begins

KATHMANDU: A film titled ‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ is set to be made under the direction of Arjun Ghimire (Pande), who has directed popular television programs like “Bhadragol” and “Sakkigoni.”

On the occasion of the traditional “Kheer Khane Din” today, the shooting of the film commenced at Dhanteri Barahi Temple in Lalitpur. Director and comedian Arjun Ghimire shared that the film will portray the experiences of common people.

He said, “We are making a film that captures events happening within a family. This is my first film project, collaborating with senior and contemporary colleagues. The movie will address themes that we observe and hear about but have not yet explored deeply.”

The film ‘Jhari Pachhiko Indreni’ features actors Ramesh Upreti, Deepashree Nirola, Ganesh Upreti, Priyana Acharya (Munni), among others. The shooting will take place in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. Kumar Byanjankar (Kumar Ben) has written the story, Arjun Ghimire and Bishal Ghimire have written the screenplay, and Buddhi Thapa is the cinematographer.
