KATHMANDU: Actress Niti Shah is tying the knot with Yachit Rana on Friday, corresponding to Saturday, in a ceremony conducted according to traditional religious rituals. The couple has been engaged in wedding celebrations for the past week.

On Wednesday evening, they hosted a private banquet for close friends and celebrities at Trisara in Durbarmarg. Prominent figures from the film, music, modeling, and beauty pageant sectors attended the event.

Actors Paul Shah and Benisha Hamal, Shah’s co-stars in the film Mohar, were seen dancing during the celebration. Sources said the program featured 25 performances and continued until midnight. The event was hosted by former Miss Nepal Ashma Kumari KC.

Several former Miss Nepal titleholders, including Anushka Shrestha and Asmi Shrestha, were also present, along with other pageant figures and personalities. The couple is scheduled to host a grand reception on Saturday.
