KATHMANDU: Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Danielle Meuwly met acclaimed filmmaker Min Bahadur Bham to discuss strengthening cinematic collaboration between Switzerland and Nepal.

The meeting highlighted Bham’s growing international recognition, particularly in Switzerland, where his films have been regularly featured at major festivals.

This year, the 40th edition of the Fribourg International Film Festival showcased two of his notable works, The Black Hen (Kalo Pothi) and The Flute (Bansulli).

The Swiss Embassy reaffirmed its continued support for Nepali cinema, noting the global success of films such as Shambhala. The engagement reflects expanding cultural ties between the two countries through film and storytelling.
