KATHMANDU: The battle for the box office crown in Nepal has been fierce this year, and foreign movies have left a huge mark. The official box office report by the Films Development Board suggests that 83 foreign movies entertained Nepali viewers in 2081. Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, was the most grossed foreign movie of the year. Let’s find out which were the top 10 foreign movies that dominated the Nepali box office this year!

1. PUSHPA 2
Unstoppable Pushpa 2 took the top position with a remarkable earning of NPR 26.44 crores! With over 8.44 lakh tickets sold, Allu Arjun’s high-speed stunt was a superhit. The action sequel, directed and scripted by Sukumar Bandredi, captivated the audience with its interesting plot.

2. KALKI 2898 AD
Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD struck a scale with Nepali audiences and collected NPR 12.57 crores! The suspense of what was going to happen next in the film and the edge-of-the-seat action scenes had the audience at the edge of their seats, thanks to Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

3. STREE 2
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 is of interest to film enthusiasts, with box office collections of over NPR 8.11 crores. The haunting atmosphere of the film along with its spicy sense of humor and great performances captivated individuals and became a box-office hit in Nepal.
