Workshop begins for Dayahang Rai and Prakash Saput’s upcoming film ‘Mirmire’

KATHMANDU: The workshop of the movie ‘Mirmire’ has begun. The workshop of the movie starring Dayahang Rai and Prakash Saput has begun.

Director Yam Sherpa informed that a workshop has been started with the main actors of the movie from Sunday. “We have started the workshop so that the shooting will be smooth. We will be smooth between the story and our characters and actors,” said Director Sherpa, “This will further help us to complete the shooting of our movie quickly.”

The film ‘Mirmire’, which is currently being worked on at the Kantipur Film Academy, will begin shooting from this Friday. Most of the film will be shot in Kavre.

Prakash and Dayahang are collaborating for the first time through this film. This is the second time that Yam is collaborating with Dayahang. Earlier, Dayahang had also worked on his first directorial venture ‘Karsang’.

Presented by Yarsa Films, the film will also star Dayahang and Prakash, along with actress Sirjana Ninglekhu and actor Maotse Gurung.

Along with directing the film, Yama Sherpa himself has also written the story. He has not wanted to reveal anything about the film’s plot.

Produced by Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa and Ang Tshering Sherpa, ‘Mirmire’ is co-produced by Govinda Bohara, Sudip Kunwar and Ishwar Shrestha. The executive producer of the film is Rohit Kattel, a film distributor who is also the owner of RR Films.

‘Mirmire’ will be released in 2082. The release date has not been decided. The film will be distributed by RR Films.
