KATHMANDU. Youths have organized protests at Maitighar in Kathmandu, chanting slogans and claiming, “Gen-G’s demand was not to hold elections, but ensure good governance.”

The Gen Z group named ‘Garikhan Deu’ led by Miraj Dhungana demonstrated at Maitighar Mandala on Monday. The demonstrators carried placards with various slogans. They demonstrated while chanting anti-government slogans.

The ‘Garikhan Deu’ group has been protesting with various demands. This group had announced its protest programs by holding a press conference on Sunday. This group has been protesting against the elections, saying the government needed to ensure good governance first before holding elections.
