KATHMANDU: A total of 67.31 percent of candidates have passed the 17th name registration licensing examination conducted by the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC).
According to Secretary Basanta Kumar Shrestha, the examination was held from February 17 to February 20 at the Advance Education and Innovative Research Center in Babarmahal.
Out of 4,470 candidates who appeared in 44 different subjects, 3,009 successfully cleared the examination. Participation varied widely by subject, ranging from a single candidate in some areas to as many as 2,263 in others.
The council conducts the licensing examination to certify qualified health professionals for registration and practice.
