KATHMANDU: On Friday, Bagmati Province was officially declared fully vaccinated in a special event organized by the Province’s Ministry of Health, attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Based on a certificate from the National Full Vaccination Coordination Committee under the federal Ministry of Health and Population, all children aged 16 to 23 months had received complete vaccination by 15 months of age as of August 11, 2024.

With full vaccination coverage achieved across 13 districts and 119 local units, the province-wide declaration was made.

Prime Minister Oli handed over the vaccination certificate to Provincial Health Minister Kiran Thapa and also inaugurated the Digital Health Program during the event.
