A child died of chilling cold at Kushe rural municipality in Jajarkot district on Wednesday.

The three-year-old daughter of Sunil Badi of Kushe municipality-1 died of the extreme cold, said the chairperson of the rural municipality, Hari Chandra Basnet. The child was suffering from pneumonia due to a cold and died on the way to the hospital.

 The family of the deceased is living under tarpaulin after the Jajarkot earthquake occurred on November 3 and damaged their house, added Basnet.
