KATHMANDU: The government has announced that the HPV vaccine, which protects against cervical cancer in women, will be included in the regular immunization program.
While presenting the policy and program, President Ram Chandra Poudel stated that cancer treatment services for children under 14 years of age will be provided free of cost.
Additionally, more effective programs will be introduced for pregnant and postpartum women in remote areas.
The policy also includes provisions for free healthcare for senior citizens.
“Effective programs will be implemented for pregnant and postpartum women in remote areas, and free healthcare services will be provided to senior citizens,” President Poudel remarked.
