KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has been admitted to hospital.

According to his secretariat, he was hospitalized at Bir Hospital on Saturday night after developing a fever.

He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital’s VIP cabin.

Minister Paudel had been experiencing prolonged symptoms of cold, cough, and fever, along with general weakness.

After resting at home for a few days, he had resumed work.

However, shortly after returning from a ministerial-level meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, his condition worsened again, prompting hospitalization.
