BIRATNAGAR: In an effort to ensure accessible health services in flood and landslide-affected districts, the Koshi Provincial Government is mobilizing medical teams starting today.

The teams will include representatives from the Health Directorate, the Supply Management Department, and medical professionals.

Three teams are set to depart this morning for Ilam, Panchthar, Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, and Udayapur districts.

The teams will provide guidance on preventing infectious and vector-borne diseases, assess the health conditions of affected residents, and offer necessary assistance.

They will also collect detailed reports on the extent of damage in the affected areas.
