DAMAULI: An arrangement of specialist doctors has been made in Province Hospital, Damauli.

The Ministry of Health and Population of Gandaki Province made arrangement of cardiologist, gastroenterologist and pediatrician in the hospital.

Hospital Chief Dr Paribartan Baral said the government managed the specialist doctors to end the locals’ compulsion of visiting other districts for these health services.

Earlier, the locals had to go to Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan for the specialist services. The hospital has forwarded other necessary process as the cabinet has already decided to expand province hospital to 50-bed, he added.

A total of 107,983 people had received different types of health services from the hospital in the last fiscal year.
