KATHMANDU: Antarashtriya Panchanga Nirnayak Samiti (International Calendar Determination Committee) has released the auspicious timings (saait) for receiving Dashain tika in different countries around the world.
According to committee member-secretary Acharya Laxman Panthi, the decision was made after Hindu devotees living abroad expressed interest in knowing the tika timings based on their respective local calendars and time zones.
For Nepal, the auspicious time is set at 11:53 AM on October 2.
The timings for other countries are as follows:
