GAZA: Hamas has released all 20 Israeli captives held in the Gaza Strip under a ceasefire agreement.

Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank are awaiting the release of nearly 2,000 people from Israeli jails as part of the deal.

US President Donald Trump has arrived in Israel and will address the Israeli Knesset before traveling to Egypt to co-chair an international summit on the agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also expected to attend the Sharm el-Sheikh summit.

Meanwhile, Palestinians are returning to the remnants of their homes in northern Gaza as much-needed humanitarian aid begins reaching the Strip.

Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 67,806 people and injured 170,066.

During the October 7 attacks in Israel, 1,139 people were killed and around 200 were taken captive.
