MANILA: A powerful magnitude 7.4 (revised from 7.6) earthquake struck off the southern Philippines’ Mindanao region at 9:43 AM local time on Friday, October 10, 2025, triggering mass coastal evacuations across the Philippines, Indonesia, and Palau.
