The Supreme Court has decided to conduct collective hearing on writ petitions filed, seeking reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR). The constitutional bench led by Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut including Senior Most Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, Justices Hari Prasad Phuyal, Manoj Kumar Sharma, and Nahakul Subedi, has decided that the supplementary writ petitions submitted by eight former Nepali Congress parliamentarians would be heard together with others. As per Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, a total of 57 former Nepali Congress lawmakers lodged a writ petition calling for HoR reinstatement.

Election Commission Announces Officers for National Assembly Polls
