Chandan Maharjan of Mata Tirtha in Kathmandu has been arrested on charges of molesting a minor. It is said that he forced a 16-year-old girl. Maharjan took the girl to a guest house in Kalanki on different dates

Similarly, another person has been arrested in Bhaktapur on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl.

22-year-old Rupak Khadka, a resident of Balkot, Suryabinayak Municipality, has been arrested.
