RASUWA: Fifty people trapped at the dam site of the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project due to flooding have been rescued.
Rescue teams from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and the Nepali Army confirmed that by 12:50 PM on Tuesday, all 50 individuals—including 4 women, 46 men, and one Chinese national—had been safely evacuated.
The rescue operation involved safely escorting them across a suspension bridge.
Authorities remain cautious about the possibility of further flood damage and continue search efforts for any missing persons.
