KATHMANDU: The District Administration Office (DAO) of Kathmandu has issued a warning against ride-sharing drivers who charge inflated fares, following reports of overcharging.
On Saturday evening, the administration stated that drivers of InDrive, Pathao, and Yango have been reportedly taking higher fares than usual during the monsoon-related disruptions, causing inconvenience to passengers.
The DAO urged anyone with evidence of overcharging to contact Information Officer Muktiram Rijal at 9851338322.
The administration confirmed that those found violating the law will face legal action.
