KATHMANDU: The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has suspended leave, transfers and resignations of its personnel to ensure maximum manpower mobilisation for security during the March 5 House of Representatives elections.
According to the Integrated Election Security Plan 2082, the restrictions have been enforced from yesterday, with all offices instructed not to approve leave except in highly essential cases.
The APF said the decision aims to ensure continuous manpower availability and strengthen effective and reliable election security throughout the polling period.
