The Bagmati Province Assembly meeting that was scheduled for today has been postponed after opposition parties obstructed it.

The Province Assembly meeting has been put off until Sunday, said the Province Assembly Secretariat.

Opposition parties have been protesting some issues like the decision of the government to purchase and operate electric vehicles and the government itself to run media outlets. The issues have been included in the budget of the province for the fiscal year, 2021/22.
