A ballot box was set on fire at a polling station in Devchuli Municipality-4 Jhankre, Nawalparasi East.

Local Peace Creation Basic School Polling Station has been set on fire in the proportional ballot box for the Provincial Assembly. The police have arrested a local named Narayan Bhandari on the charge of arson.

Chief District Officer Suman Ghimire said that the police arrested him 2 kilometers away from the polling station.
