MYAGDI: Myagdi section under Beni-Jomsom-Korala road has been blacktopped after 19 years.

Out of 33 kilometers from Beni to Kavrebhir, the border of Mustang, was blacktopped.

Engineer Bishnu Chapagain of the road project said the road was widened to 11-meter and blacktopped. Of the 16.5-kilometer Nagdhunga-Kaikukhola section, 11 kilometers was blacktopped at Rs 630 million.

Similarly, the 15-kilometer road, of the 19-kilometer Rahughat-Nagdhunga section, was blacktopped at Rs 660 million.

Likewise, motorable bridges were constructed at Rahughat, Begkhola, Mahabhir, Kaligandaki of Pokharebagar, Ghattekhola of Dana as well as bailey bridges were installed over Bhurungkhola and Rupsekhola.
