KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has scheduled a Cabinet meeting for 5 PM today at his official residence in Baluwatar.

As per the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will address several matters, including the ongoing parliamentary discussions on the government’s policies and programs for the next fiscal year, a review of current government operations, recent developments, and the pending appointment of a new governor for Nepal Rastra Bank.

The central bank has been without a governor since Chaitra 25, as the government has not yet finalized the appointment. In the meantime, Neelam Dhungana has been serving as the acting governor.
