Condolence book placed to mourn the passing of leader Zia

KATHMANDU: The Bangladesh Embassy here has placed condolence book at the embassy since Thursday to mourn the passing of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Khaleda Zia.

Former Prime Minister Zia had passed away on last Tuesday. The embassy stated that on Thursday it had sent letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic missions in Kathmandu, and other international organizations, informing them that a condolence book had been placed.

The embassy also stated that arrangements have been made for signatures on the condolence book from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day until January 5 (Monday), except Saturday.

The letter has invited diplomats, government officials and members of the international community working in Nepal to express their condolences and sign the book.
