NAWALPUR: The Daunne road section in Nawalpur, which lies along the East-West Highway, has been blocked once again.

Slippery road conditions have made it difficult for vehicles to ascend the uphill stretch, causing traffic disruptions.

According to the Narayanghat–Butwal Road Project, efforts are underway to repair the section and restore vehicle movement.

Although traffic had resumed to some extent on Wednesday after three to four days of obstruction, problems resurfaced on Thursday.

The road near the Bishwakarma Temple in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality–2 has seen repeated disruptions.

Currently, road expansion work is ongoing along the 14-kilometer Daunne stretch.

Due to the lack of proper grading and blacktopping, even light rainfall causes the road to become slippery, making it challenging for vehicles to pass.
