KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives will continue its session today, with the meeting scheduled for 11 a.m., according to the Parliament Secretariat.
Lawmakers will wrap up their discussions on the government’s proposed policies and programs for the fiscal year 2082/083. The remaining members who have yet to speak are expected to present their views in today’s meeting.
Debate on the policies and programs has been ongoing since Monday. The Parliament Secretariat informed that only three hours remain of the 18 hours allocated for the discussion, and the debate is expected to conclude by the end of today’s session.
The timeline for passing the policies and programs has already been set, following Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s address in both Houses on May 11.
