KATHMANDU: A magnitude 4 earthquake struck near Taramarang in Sindhupalchowk at 11:23 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Seismological Center.

Tremors were felt across Sindhupalchowk and neighboring districts. Earlier on Tuesday morning at 6:15 a.m., a magnitude 4 quake with its epicenter in Hansapur, Ajirkot Rural Municipality–3 of Gorkha, was recorded by the center.

At 3:13 p.m. the same day, another earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Lapilang of Dolakha, the center confirmed.
