KATHMANDU: An earthquake hit western Nepal on Wednesday night.
According to the National Seismological Center, the tremor with a magnitude of 4.6 struck at 8:26 PM, with its epicenter along the border of Rukum Purba and Baglung districts.
Following the sudden jolt, locals rushed out of their homes.
The quake was widely felt across several districts of Lumbini, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces.
So far, no reports of human casualties or property damage have been received.
