Ex-PM Nepal undergoes angioplasty, health improving

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal’s health has improved following a heart procedure.

He was admitted to the Manamohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center in Maharajgunj on Thursday after experiencing heart-related problems.

An angioplasty was performed, and doctors have advised him to rest for a few days as part of his recovery process. He is currently under intensive care, and hospital visits have been restricted due to his health’s sensitive nature, according to Damodar Aryal, Deputy Chief of the party’s Central Publicity Department.
