KATHMANDU: Protesters set fire to the ministers’ quarters in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, on Tuesday amid escalating Gen-Z demonstrations.

The arson attack took place as part of the ongoing youth-led protests that have spread across the Kathmandu Valley.

On Monday, at least 19 people were killed during violent clashes between security forces and demonstrators.

With tensions already high, today’s protests have intensified further since early morning, sparking fresh fears of unrest in the capital.
