DADELDHURA:  Five passengers were injured when a jeep traveling from Doti to Dadeldhura met with an accident along the Dr. KI Singh Highway.

The incident occurred at Machhalikhola in Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality–3 of Dadeldhura district.

The jeep (registration number Lumbini Province 01001 Cha 3301) overturned on the road around 12:00 noon on Saturday.

All five injured passengers were residents of Sayal Rural Municipality in Doti district.

They have been identified as Lali Saud (17), Laxmi Saud (18), Apeksha Saud (19), Madan Saud (19), and Keshav Saud (16).

All the injured were rescued by police and taken to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway, police added.
