TAPLEJUNG: A Kathmandu–Taplejung flight returned on Friday morning after failing to land at Suketar Airport due to low visibility caused by fog, according to Nepal Airlines’ Taplejung station in-charge Narayan Kumar Karki.
The plane, carrying four passengers, had to turn back as weather conditions worsened during landing.
Seven Kathmandu-bound passengers in Taplejung waited for hours but were left disappointed.
Frequent flight disruptions at Suketar Airport continue to trouble locals, forcing many to rely on long road journeys.
