KATHMANDU: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is undergoing treatment at Frontline Hospital in Baneshwor after being admitted on Wednesday afternoon.

Doctors advised hospitalization following a health check-up, where she was diagnosed with pneumonia, according to the hospital. She has been placed in cabin number 603 since yesterday.

Bhandari has been residing at her eldest daughter Ushakiran’s residence in Baluwatar after her residence in Bhagal was destroyed by fire during the September 9 Gen-Z uprising.
