ITAHARI: Youth protesters from the Gen Z movement set fire to the Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City office, causing significant damage to the building.

Protesters pulled government documents, furniture, and other office materials outside and burned them.

As the protests escalated, the Sunsari administration imposed a curfew in Itahari.

Demonstrators had gathered at the city’s main square from 11 AM before marching to the sub-metropolitan office.

The situation turned violent, culminating in the arson at the municipal office.
