LALITPUR: In a dramatic turn of events, Gen-Z protesters today broke into Nakkhu Jail and released Rabi Lamichhane.

Lalitpur police chief SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari confirmed the incident, stating that the protesters forcibly entered the prison and freed Lamichhane.

“We do not know where he has been taken; he has been released from prison,” Adhikari said, adding that authorities are investigating the matter.

The bold prison break underscores the growing unrest and increasingly audacious actions by Gen-Z demonstrators nationwide.
