KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has urged civil servants wishing to be transferred to submit their applications by the end of the Nepali month of Shrawan (mid-August).

The move is aimed at preparing the roster of employees to be transferred in the current fiscal year.

According to the ministry, all ministries, commissions, secretariats, agencies, and civil servants across the country have been directed to manage the annual transfer process in line with the Civil Service Act, and the Civil Service Regulations, which require transfers to be completed within the month of Bhadra (mid-September).

Interested civil servants must update their personal records before submitting transfer applications.

Preparations are being made to ensure the process is transparent, timely, and effective, with an emphasis on using a digital system for record updates and coordination to make transfer management more efficient.
