KATHMANDU: The government has decided to introduce a dedicated “Blue Bus” service for women across all seven provinces of Nepal.
A Cabinet meeting held on Friday approved the plan to bring 25 such buses into operation within the next 100 days.
The initiative aims to enhance the safety and security of women in public transportation. The concept was previously piloted in Chitwan by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) president Rabi Lamichhane.
