KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has confirmed that Hamro Patro and Global Diary have been officially listed.

In a press release on Sunday, ministry spokesperson Gajendra Kumar Thakur stated that two social media platforms have been registered, and information requested by these platforms has been provided.

According to Spokesperson Thakur, social media platforms X and WeChat requested the necessary information for listing, and the ministry supplied the information accordingly.

Additionally, through the press release, Thakur advised the public not to use unsafe and high-risk Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to access social media platforms that have been restricted.
