SURKHET: Large vehicles have been prohibited from operating along the Karnali Highway after a road section collapsed at Gothibhir in Tilagufa Municipality–6, Kalikot.

According to the District Police Office, Kalikot, the road was damaged on Friday morning, leading to a ban on the movement of heavy vehicles.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Rawal stated, “Due to continuous rainfall, travel along the highway has become extremely risky. We urge everyone to exercise caution.”
