MUSTANG: The Jomsom–Kagbeni road, which had been blocked since Friday morning due to continuous rainfall, has reopened after maintenance work.
The road had collapsed in several places but has now been repaired and made operational.
Under the coordination of the District Administration Office, repair works were carried out, and vehicle movement has resumed on the section.
Travel from Jomsom to Kagbeni and Muktinath has now become easier. Meanwhile, the local administration has said that efforts are ongoing to reopen the Kagbeni–Chhusang road.
Necessary equipment and manpower have been deployed to clear landslides along the route.
